EVALUATION OF THE EFFICACY OF TOPICAL PIPERINE OIL COMBINED WITH EXCIMER LIGHT PHOTOTHERAPY IN THE TREATMENT OF NON-SEGMENTAL VITILIGO: COMPARATIVE INTRA INDIVIDUAL STUDY

Background: Vitiligo is an acquired idiopathic disease that appears as skin depigmented patches due to a loss of melanocytes are responsible for producing melanin pigment in the skin, hair, mucous membranes and retina. Objective: To evaluate efficacy topical piperine oil combined with excimer light phototherapy treatment non-segmental vitiligo: comparative intra individual study. Patients methods: Our study was carried out on 30 patients complaining vitiligo from December 2019 September 2020. Thirty subjects two comparable were treated by phototherapy; one them randomly selected daily at home. out-patient clinic Dermatology, Venereology Andrology Department Al-Azhar University Hospitals. Results: The present showed improvement plus excellent response 60% patients, good 6.6% fair 26.6% poor patients. Improvement only 46.6% 20% Conclusion: Using Excimer promising method treatment.
